We are looking for an API Optimization Executive to provide technical support and supplier/client relationship. You will work directly with the senior leadership team.
The AOE must be a proven technologist who can adapt and respond to the ever-changing demands in technical supplier excellence. This position requires securing supplier loyalty, forging strong relationships with external business partners, and overseeing the optimization of the API/XML Partners with a data driven approach.
The lead is responsible for supporting the commercial areas and coordinating and reporting results of the rest of the areas. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key strategic suppliers & clients
Role Description
• New Business On-boarding: You will work with the 3rd party suppliers & clients' team, sales managers, and technology team + support & maintain current integrations. You will oversee analyzing and defining the requirements, translating them into functional requirements for the development team. You will own the implementation from the moment the 3rd party supplier has been integrated and "LIVE", provide ongoing support, testing and troubleshooting the integration(s). Advanced understanding of technical logic, component of any supplier integrations.
• Technical Support & Relationship Management: You will own the partner on boarding and technical optimization of key partners accounts. Additionally, you will be the technical point of contact for diagnosing issues with supplier integrations and answering support questions from both internal and external parties.
• Improve Partner Performance: You will optimize our portfolio of API partners through focused analysis and experimentation to help Ottila grow accordingly. This is mainly driven by reviewing partner technical performance (including error rate, mapping, traffic), understanding the opportunities and proposing relevant solutions. Ability to use monitoring tools and ease of learning multiple tools to support daily work.
Qualifications
• At least one year in a similar role.
• Advanced understanding of technical logic, component of any client & supplier integrations.
• Ability to use monitoring tools and ease of learning multiple tools to support daily work.
• Good analytical skills with a data driven mindset.
• Good ability to understand business plans (commercial area) and the technical implications.
• Good communication skills / interpersonal skills (exposure to a vast pool of stakeholders including top management) / Proactive attitude.
• Experience handling partnerships is preferable.
• Proven knowledge about RESTful APIs. Previous experience supporting API based software development products
• Familiarity and experience interpreting data/logs from XML/JSON/YAML formats and working with SQL databases
• Strong written and verbal communication + problem-solver skills
• Fluent English, another language will be a plus
Work Experience in similar role: 1 years Experience in the tourism industry will be preferred .
