Sub Function: Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness (DE&I)
Talent Services (TS) is a core service line within Global Delivery Services and Global Shared Services organisation, providing multiple HR Operational support services including Recruitment Operations support, Onboarding support, Core HR data administration, Learning Admin support, Performance management support, Global Mobility & CBTS support, Global Reporting, etc. to EY member firms. TS provides these services to Areas, Regions, Countries, Global & Regional Talent teams, COE Teams, and other stakeholders. These services are delivered from our centres in Dalian, China; Kerala, India; Wroclaw, Poland; and Manila, Philippines.
Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) for the respective function is an integral part of TS service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions - delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness (DE&I) Operations supports the Areas, Regions and Service Lines develop, drive and embed an integrated DE&I strategy that enables both consistency and local contextualization. The opportunity
The Asia-Pacific DE&I team supports the Area's 6 Regions and 5 Service Lines to develop, drive and embed an integrated diversity and inclusiveness (DE&I) strategy across their geographies that both
enables Area consistency and local contextualisation.
Key focus areas for the team are stakeholder engagement, specialist consultancy, communications, reporting, community building and change management.
This role reports to the Asia-Pacific DE&I Leader and supports her activities by creating and delivering engaging presentations in accordance with EY's branding guidelines, hosting virtual meetings in a producer capacity, deeply analysing and reporting data, developing agendas and speaker notes for internal and external meetings, maintain relationships with external suppliers, monitoring the budget and producing communication plans and materials which includes keeping the website and SharePoint pages up to date.
Your key responsibilities
Key responsibilities will vary, but will include
• Data analysis and reporting - in particular in relation to the leadership pipeline, monthly DE&I report, deep dive analysis to the DE&I tracker, adhoc requests for meetings and events
• General DE&I co-ordination - e.g. production of the monthly stakeholder call and following up on action points
• Project management of the functions - tracking programs progress and problem solving to overcome barriers
• Design, development and execution of campaigns (to include internal and external social media) e.g., IDAHOT, Flextober, international women's day with development of best practice toolkits, refreshing thought leadership and sharing with the stakeholder groups
• DE&I consulting and support for Regions and Service Lines
• Development and ongoing upkeep of the Area intranet pages, latest news section, SharePoint pages, resources and team meeting pages
• General governance - e.g. budget management
• External relationship management - e.g., external suppliers like Community Business
• Attending webinars/conferences and sharing best practice with stakeholder group
• Power BI and SharePoint user
• Knowledge of EY brand /sharing info through ppt, graphs and excel.
Skills and attributes for success
To be successful in this role, we believe that you must have a genuine interest in diversity, equity and inclusion and have
• Strong past experience and track record of successful project management
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills especially in HR and talent reporting analysis and report development
• Good experience of Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint building and maintaining pages
• An ability to think laterally and creatively and work independently
• A disposition to be a self starter, comfortable in working on your own and with teams, sometimes to tight timescales
• An ability to work with ambiguity
• A positive style of communication (written and verbal) that can both engage and influence
• An ability to build good diversity networks - both across EY and externally across cultures
• A commitment to continuous learning and cultural competence
• Ideally experience of change management and reporting
• Experience of influencing at all levels of the organisation
Education:
• Master's or bachelor's degree in any discipline required.
Experience:
• 7+ years or more of professional experience, preferably Talent Operations and Reporting
