This role ensures the protection of the organization's assets, people, and operations while enhancing resilience against various threats and disruptions. The position requires a deep understanding of the diverse risk landscape in the APAC region and the ability to adapt global security standards to local contexts.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement security and resilience strategies tailored to the APAC region, aligned with global corporate policiesOversee physical security, information security, and business continuity programs across APAC offices and operationsConduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses specific to APAC countries and marketsDesign and implement crisis management and emergency response plans for various scenariosLead and coordinate security and resilience teams across APAC countriesCollaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure consistent security practicesDevelop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, government agencies, and security partners in APAC countriesEnsure compliance with local and international security regulations and standardsManage the regional security and resilience budget, allocating resources effectively across APAC operationsDevelop and deliver security awareness and training programs tailored to APAC cultural contextsInvestigate and report on security incidents, recommending and implementing corrective actionsStay informed about geopolitical developments, security trends, and emerging risks in the APAC regionProvide expert advice to senior management on security and resilience matters in APACOversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies and systems across the regionDevelop and track key performance indicators for security and resilience programs in APACQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Continuity, International Relations, or related field; Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience in security and resilience roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position in APACDemonstrable experience in managing security and business continuity programs in multiple APAC countriesStrong understanding of the diverse cultural, political, and business environments across APACExcellent knowledge of international and regional security standards and best practicesExperience in crisis management and emergency response planningStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence across culturesExcellent communication skills, including the ability to present to senior managementFluency in English; proficiency in one or more APAC languages is highly advantageousProven track record in developing and implementing security strategies in complex organizationsExperience in managing budgets and resources across multiple countriesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel frequently within the APAC regionRelevant certifications such as CPP, CBCP, or CISM are preferredExperience in a multinational corporate environment is highly desirableLocation:On-site -Bengaluru, KAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all of the requirements.
