As a HR Pay and Time professional in APAC Payroll, you execute the core processing activities that are of moderate complexity. You look for opportunities to enhance processes.
Job responsibilities
• Payroll processing for APAC locations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll
• Co-ordinate with various stakeholders for payroll & offboarding inputs/documents to ensure deliverables are met. Has a client servicing focus
• Manage payroll and offboarding deliverables as per agreed payroll schedule
• Follow agreed SOP in day to day operations and look for ways of improving processes
• Excellent organization & time management skills. Should exercise good judgment in prioritizing deliverables for oneself and team
• Interact closely with Payroll/Offboarding vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Co-ordinate with accounting and finance team to arrange payroll funds
• Complete employer obligations around tax filing and other regulatory reporting
• Ensure to share payroll reports to respective stakeholders (Finance, HR etc.)
• Very strong calculation / analytical skills
• Lead Tax Year-end activities to meet regulatory timelines
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Graduate with 5-7 years of experience or equivalent expertise in Payroll
• Have strong customer focus (internal employees)
• Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
• Handling External and Internal Audits
