We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Lead Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Be a part of the Infrastructure Architecture team that partners with the other technology architecture domains to deliver high quality technology platforms which are cost effective, delivered in a timely manner and comply with our regulatory requirements. Their broader focus is to investigate new infrastructure technologies to meet the business requirements, govern the use of existing technologies (including producing and reviewing system designs), producing and maintaining artefacts such as roadmaps and reference architectures, and guiding business stakeholders.
• Determine business requirement and influence solution towards Infrastructure future state model
• Gauge strategic impact to business function, impacted upstream and downstream services and subsequent technology footprint
• Ensure logical design contributes to technology objectives
• Examine potential demise opportunities and propose deployment options
• Be accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives. Work with product owner & team to ensure that service levels are maintained and improved
• Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the solutions delivered within the platform.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• Have demonstrable experience of at least one of the following - Monitoring Tools (eg. BMC Patrol, AppDynamics, SCOM), Event Management Tools (BMC Enterprise Manager / Helix Operations, Interlink, ServiceNow ITOM), or Observability Tools (Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace)
• Have a working knowledge of Networking (WAN, LAN, Network Security), Identity Access Management (e.g. Active Directory, LDAP, Privileged Access Management tools), Cloud technologies such as Google GCP, Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure, as well as APIs, Kubernetes and the ecosystem, Automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Terraform, Server virtualization, for example VMware, Xen, Hyper-V or KVM and Storage networking technologies such as vFC, FCoE, iSCSI, SRDF, etc
• A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
• Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
• Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
• Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
• A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
