Position Profile - Annotator Trimble Agriculture / Bilberry activity In Trimble Agriculture, Bilberry is an innovative Agtech, whose ambition is to reduce the quantity of herbicide used worldwide by 80%. Our products, protected by more than 30 patents, use the most advanced image processing Artificial Intelligence technology in collaboration with embedded systems to help achieve our mission of a more sustainable agriculture. In order to reduce the amount of herbicides used, our camera network, directly embedded on the boom of the sprayers, continuously scans the paddock, identifies the weeds within the crops in real time, and controls the spraying automatically. By using our technology, we spray only where it\'s needed, when it\'s needed. The Mission We are seeking Image Data Annotators for Bilberry\'s crop and weed image data. The Image Data Annotator needs to be knowledgeable about the weeds in our projects in order to produce high quality annotations in a team of 40+ annotators. It Involves The Following Responsibilities Understand, follow, and provide feedback on project guidelines. Learn about new crops, weeds, and their growth pattern on a regular basis. Identify and annotate various weeds in different crops at different growth stages. Verify and correct images that are pre-annotated by one of our artificial intelligence models. Meet accuracy and quality standards in regards to annotation. Apply feedback from reviewers if there are issues with annotations and resubmit the annotated batch to be reviewed. Coordinate with the rest of the team for timely delivery of work products. Your Profile You have excellent crop recognition and analysis skills. You are both autonomous and able to work in a team. You are willing to share your knowledge with others and to always improve your skills. You own a bachelor\'s or degree in agriculture or botany. You are excited about sustainability and problem solving You have great familiarity and recognition of row crops such as corn / sorghum, soybean, cereal, canola, cotton, lentil / chickpea, sunflower, lupin, etc. in images and in the real world. You know how to find accurate and reliable information on crops with which you are not yet familiar. You have learn-ability to use Bilberry\'s annotation web tool to produce annotations. You have the ability to try and understand why your annotations could have been incorrectly done and apply suggestions from reviewers to improve annotation quality. You have the ability to work with annotation reviewers and the annotation manager to continuously improve the annotation quality and throughput.
