Job Description

For 2D Animation:

Conceptualization and Storyboarding

: Collaborate with designers, writers, and project managers to develop story concepts and visual outlines.

Design and Character Creation

: Create detailed 2D character designs, backgrounds, and props that match the project's style.

Animation Development

: Develop smooth, engaging animations using principles like squash and stretch, anticipation, and timing.

Sound Synchronization

: Match animations with sound effects, dialogue, and background music to ensure a seamless experience.

Optimization

: Prepare animations for output across various platforms, ensuring quality and compatibility.

For 3D Animation:

Modeling and Rigging

: Design 3D models of characters, props, and environments using tools like Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max. Rig characters and models for realistic movements and expressions.

Animating Characters and Objects

: Create fluid animations for characters, including lip-syncing, facial expressions, and body mechanics.

Lighting and Texturing

: Add high-quality textures and lighting for realism or stylized effects.

Rendering and Post-Processing

: Render animations with tools like V-Ray, Arnold, or Blender and apply final compositing touches.

Collaboration

: Work closely with developers, designers, and VFX teams to integrate animations into the project pipeline.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in 2D/3D animation with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Animate, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, and Unity/Unreal Engine. Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, weight, and flexibility). Experience in rigging and character animation workflows.
