Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Android Developer with 1-2 years of experience in developing and deploying Android applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Android development, a passion for crafting intuitive and user-friendly applications, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to improve application performance and reliability.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and data storage solutions (SQLite, Room, etc.).
• Implement and maintain secure coding practices, especially for sensitive data handling.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and tools.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high code quality and best practices.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (e.g., B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc. IT, or MCA).
• Experience : 1-2 years of experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and other development tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of Material Design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for mobile apps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack libraries like Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, and Data Binding.
• Familiarity with Firebase (authentication, cloud messaging, analytics).
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or Android Profiler.
• Knowledge of deploying applications on the Google Play Store and handling updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?7,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
