The role

You will become part of a motivated and friendly QA team supporting the verification and validation of next generation ultra-low power GPU cores.

You will get an opportunity to work with future technology and applications to ensure that Imagination Designs are successful and of the highest quality. You are going to obtain immense learning opportunities, bringing new mobile 3D graphics core technologies and solutions to market.

You will:

• Perform regular app testing to ensure applications operate without issues
• Execute application testing across multiple mobile platforms
• Perform in-depth testing on key apps for our customers
• Provide direct support and communicate closely with the rest of the QA team to help triage any issues
• Report bugs to the relevant development teams
• Work with prototype devices to ensure applications work on unreleased software or hardware
• Discuss the validation results and the priorities of testing with the extended development team (HW/SW/Project Manager)

You\'ll have:

• Good understanding of testing methodologies
• Previous knowledge of the Android mobile phone platform
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• General knowledge of computer graphics and APIs
• Creative problem solving skills to be able to solve issues with access to or use of applications
• Ability to test applications beyond the basic function, ensuring all parts of the app are tested
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• A passion for technology and a work ethic to match

You might also have:

• Experience with the Android platform tools (ADB) and Android application files (.apk)
• Experience in Android application testing
• Experience with triaging issues with APIs
• ISEB/ISTQB certificate
