Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver news stories clearly, accurately, and engagingly on camera.
• Present live and recorded segments for our news app and YouTube channels.
• Conduct live interviews with guests and newsmakers.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop and plan news stories and segments.
• Assist in scripting and editing news content to ensure clarity and coherence.
• Participate in the creation of promotional and supplementary content for various platforms.
• Stay informed about current events and news stories relevant to our audience.
• Conduct thorough research on topics to be presented.
• Prepare questions and talking points for interviews and discussions.
• Interact with the audience through live chats, social media, and other engagement platforms.
• Foster a connection with viewers to build a loyal and engaged audience.
• Ensure all presented content adheres to the company's editorial guidelines and standards.
• Review and approve final content before broadcast.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an anchor, reporter, or similar role in a news organization.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong on-camera presence and ability to engage viewers.
• Proficiency in Telugu and English is mandatory.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of current events and a keen interest in news and media.
• Familiarity with video editing software and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
