Job Overview: As a Dispatch Manager at Anandco Sporting, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient coordination and execution of product dispatch operations. Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch activities, including order prioritisation, scheduling, and allocation of resources to meet delivery deadlines.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train dispatch staff to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain adequate stock levels for dispatch.
Route Optimization: Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to minimise transit time, fuel costs, and vehicle wear and tear.
Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders prior to dispatch, conducting quality checks to verify product integrity and proper packaging.
Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service representatives to address delivery inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for dispatch personnel and ensure compliance with transportation laws.
Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimise efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
