Position Overview
The Deputy VP of Forecasting & S&OP will support the development and execution of forecasting, demand planning, and S&OP processes within the Digital Banking function. This role will focus on driving operational efficiency, aligning forecasts with product and business goals, and managing resource allocation. As a hands-on leader of a small team, the DVP will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and ensure high service levels for digital products and channels. This is a critical role requiring a blend of analytical thinking, leadership, and cross-functional alignment to optimize digital banking performance.

Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
Manage demand forecasting for customer acquisition, product usage, transactions, and support services.
Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to incorporate product launches, campaigns, and promotions into forecasts.
Use historical trends, predictive analytics, and real-time data to create forecasts that balance growth, service levels, and operational costs.
S&OP Execution & Coordination
Lead S&OP meetings with key stakeholders to align forecasts with operational capacity and financial goals.
Develop short- and long-term demand scenarios, identifying risks and opportunities to support agile decision-making.
Ensure seamless collaboration between product management, customer service, marketing, and technology teams for resource optimization.
Operational Capacity & Resource Planning
Monitor and forecast workload across digital channels (e.g., contact centers, chatbots, and cloud platforms) to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Identify capacity bottlenecks and propose timely solutions to maintain high service levels.
Prepare contingency plans to address demand fluctuations, such as product launches or unexpected surges.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Leverage forecasting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms to monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, transaction volume, and product performance.
Provide regular insights and reports to senior leadership on forecast performance and operational efficiency.
Continuously improve forecasting processes using data-driven insights and feedback.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Encourage cross-functional learning and professional development for team members.
Drive alignment across internal stakeholders by promoting transparency and clear communication.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
8+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or S&OP, preferably in digital banking, financial services, or technology.
Familiarity with digital banking products and services (e.g., payments, lending, and account management).
Proficiency with forecasting tools, data analytics platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, or SAP).
Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario modeling and predictive forecasting.
Experience managing a small team and collaborating across departments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
