Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role: At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. Introduction: The role within BI first line of defence responsible for ensuring effective governance is maintained across key customer processes underpinning controls, to strengthen the control environment. This includes providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focussed interventions to fix and/or simplify controls and assurance to ensure that customer needs are met by the process every time, so that BI is able to meet its regulatory & compliance commitments. We are looking to hire an Analyst on a permanent basis in order to support the CCO Markets agenda. The successful candidate is a proven self-starter with the ability to learn complex subject matter quickly, multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing regulatory environment. What will you be doing Candidate is expected to deliver but are not limited to: \' Will be responsible for processing confidential data in a timely manner with high level of \' accuracy. \' Should be able to handle large volume of request maintaining a clear track of the workflow \' and communication with the team members \' Willing to process routine & repetitive task on daily basis \' Should be able to understand and execute a variety of request from various sources. \' Should be able to clearly identify and timely escalate any pending items and issues to \' respective teams and concerned stakeholders. \' Would be part of MiFID II Venue Admin team and would be responsible for timely upload of \' personal identification information on large number of venues \' May be required to debug & edit to the existing access application used for purpose of \' performing the mentioned role. \' Would require to contribute inputs for development & change required in internal request \' portal and process. \' Prepare Ad-hoc reports for administrative reporting. \' Develop, implement and maintain an efficient and effective control framework \' Prepare MI related to Volcker Asset Class Governance Packs What we\'re looking for: \' Excellent Eye for Detail \' Excellent communication skills \' Excellent in Power point presentations and advance Microsoft Excel \' Flexible to work long hours when required \' Excellent VBA / SQL skills \' Excellent Analytical Skills \' Aptitude for self-learning \' Thorough knowledge Operational Risk process \' Understanding of the financial products across business (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives) \' Ambitious and Proactive in nature. Should be able to take quick decisions \' Should be an Excellent Team player Skills that will help you in the role: . Knowledge of data analytics, data visualisation, VBA or python programming is desirable .
