We leverage new technologies and find innovative methods to ensure that Lowe\'s has a competitive edge in the market.About the TeamThe Store Ops team at Bangalore is an extension of the CRTV program at Lowes which provides actionable insights on the processes and activities pertaining to the customer and merchant returns. The team leads and delivers project level initiatives which involves the effective and efficient flow of merchandise throughout the Reverse Logistics network.Job Summary:Store Ops Analyst will help deliver operational results and support project level initiatives, relating to the data handling, analysis and insight generation in the returns prevention area. The Store Ops Analyst does a deep dive into the CRTV operations across the network and aims to forecast and understand the returns pattern by evaluating and assessing supply chain partners and inventory buyers.Additionally, the individual would need to collaborate closely with other Supply Chain and Merchandising departments, 3PL & Liquidation vendors in order to understand their dependencies onto the process. Furthermore, the analyst will help support the function understand the \xe2\x80\x9cWhy\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cWhere\xe2\x80\x9d behind the current process by supporting an integrated strategy of Customer Return, Reverse Logistics and Asset Recovery of Appliances and General Merchandise.To be successful, the individual in this role must have a strong understanding of analytical techniques and disparate data sources - both internal and external, and strong domain expertise.Roles & Responsibilities:Core Responsibilities:Develops reporting metrics and presents data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive returns prevention and forecasting.Provides Store Operations Consultants qualitative and quantitative analytics prior to development and after implementation identifying ROI, current/future state, and cost savings.Generates insights which create awareness among our merchants of products that returns in high returnsInterprets reporting and develops actionable performance recommendations that are distributed to key stakeholders.Executes the analysis for the end-to-end process of evaluating, proposing, launching, and running recovery and reverse logisticsExecutes project plans for the launch of new programs, features and strategiesMakes recommendations for contract and process changes to improve damage rates, vendor contribution and overall recovery rates for Lowe\xe2\x80\x99sPartners with key internal and external partners to execute operational excellence and environmental sustainability initiativesLeverage problem solving skills to determine and correct root cause, have a complete understanding of programs, educate others and buildout capabilities to improve performanceCollaborates cross functionally to effectively deliver projects, best practices, and process improvement initiativesYears of Experience:Overall 3+ years of Experience3 years of experience in Supply chain Management3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Transportation, Logistics management2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience reporting and data analytics2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of project managementEducation Qualification & Certifications (optional)Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or Related FieldMBA or Masters degree in Supply ChainSkill Set RequiredPrimary Skills (must have)Experience in Data Analytics, Performance ReportingExperience in Data Mining and Visualization tools such as PoweBI, SQL, MS Access and ExcelExperience in building automations using VBAExcellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to managementAbility to manage and manipulate large data sets for use in analytical toolsExcellent problem-solving and time management skillsSecondary Skills (desired)Basics of Machine Learning and Forecasting techniquesExperience in Retail Industry especially in E-CommerceLowe\'s is an equal opportunity employer and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
