Job Function: Analyst R&D Support
Location: Bangalore IndiaPosition Description: The purpose of this position is to support Elanco R&D and Regulatory operations by assuming responsibility for collecting and updating sourcing information for the creation of purchase orders and payment queries globally. This role is expected to be the business facing power user and primary point of communication with the business, P2P and Procurement in regards to financial management services.
Functions, Duties, Tasks:

• Execution of the purchase order request process

• Support and collaborate with business partners on process improvements

• Create and track shopping carts to trigger purchase order creation

• Monitor tracking within Ariba Guided Buying tool that enables internal clients to track expenditures

• Serve as the contact person for supplier setup, PO and payment matters for Elanco internal collaborations

• Provide oversight to the R&D utilization of our external network, providing summaries and action plans on improving utilization of those organizations

• Coordination with Elanco R&D to develop relationships with key CROs and provide supplier relationship management

• Support R&D sites to facilitate the catalog ordering process

• Support field trial management activities as needed

Technical Responsibilities

• Prepare and track shopping carts for services and goods in SAP

• Provide advice and training on sourcing, contracting, and purchase to pay processes
• High end-use computer skills, i.e., desktop publishing, graphics, spreadsheets, and databases

• Develop, maintain, and utilize efficient and effective interpersonal skills and computer hardware and software skills

• Follow appropriate standard operation procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and corporate FRAP standards

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

• Personal Considerations: Previous experience in buying or sourcing

• Educational Requirements: B.S., A.S., or equivalent work experience

• Additional Preferences: SAP and Ariba experience

• License/Certificate Requirements: None

• Language Requirements: English
