About the department :Government & Policy Affairs xe2x80x93 Commercialxc2xb7 Government (Centre and State) pursues multiple policies or regulations that can have a mega impact on the Indian Auto Industry and our Companyxe2x80x99s business (policy matters such as: Regulations related to gas based mobility (CNG, CBG, Hydrogen, etc), EPR regulations for Circular Economy, Safeguard/anti Dumping Duties, Quality Control Orders (QCOs), Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes etc.). It is therefore important to engage positively with the Government to facilitate policies which are in the best interest of MSIL, the Auto Industry and our Country.About the role1. Study, analyze and represent on policy issues having significant impact on company business (Examples Anti Dumping duties, Safeguard Duties, Production Linked Incentives, circular economy, etc)2. Secure desired approvals/permissions (from BIS, PESO, DPIIT, QCO, etc) to ensure business continuity.3. Identify and map all the stakeholders critical for our Policy advocacy (Examples like Ministry of Heavy Industries , DGTR, DPIIT, BIS, NITI Aayog, SIAM, CII, FICCI etc.)4. Make compelling presentations to be presented to Government5. Relationship & Networking - Facilitate strong relationships in Govt & Policy Circle.6. Support Internal MSIL departments with any facilitation needed from Government.
