As an analyst you will collaborate frequently with our consultants, sales and marketing team.Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Global Well Service Market Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in providing insightful market research, publishing relevant well service analytics, and monitoring global drilling activity.Key Responsibilities:

• Global Well Service Market Research: Conduct thorough market research on global well service trends, including emerging technologies, competitive analysis, and market forecasts. Analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights into market dynamics and customer needs.
• Publishing Relevant Well Service Analytics: Develop and publish detailed reports, commentaries, and presentations on the oilfield service market. Create and distribute regular updates and special reports on industry trends and market changes.
• Monitoring Global Drilling Activity: Continuously monitor and analyze global drilling activities and trends. Maintain up-to-date records of drilling operations, rig counts, and well service activities.
• Maintaining Power BI Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize well-service market data. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all dashboards and reports.
• Collaborative Analysis and Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring comprehensive and accurate market insights. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Data Management and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data collected and reported. Implement and maintain best practices for data management and analytics.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in market research and data analytics. Propose and implement improvements to existing research methodologies and analytical processes. Maintain and expand the network of primary intelligence sources in the oil and gas industry and the wider energy industry.
• Assist with business development activities such as sharing market views and explaining the methodology and research processes through virtual presentations or in-person presentations at industry or Rystad Energy events.
• Full cycle business analysis including industry-specific data research, high-end analytics, and building complex models as and when required and interacting intensively with the team members in Bangalore and with clients across the US, UK, Norway, Singapore, etc

RequirementsAn individual with the highest levels of energy, determination, and analytical ability is a must, combined with excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills. You will have fared successfully in academics, participated in extracurriculars, and will have these qualifications:

• Strong academic track record with a university degree in petroleum or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience within the oil and gas industry, familiarity with global drilling operations and market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
• Ability to conduct market sizing and forecasting analysis for service markets along with supply and pricing drivers.
• Ability to present and defend market views and research at public events or client sites.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Flexibility to work across different time zones to collaborate with global teams.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Programming skills are an advantage but not required.
• Ability to operate independently and flexibly in an environment that is both demanding and multicultural.
