GBS Analytics COE - Scrum Master About the Position We have an excellent opportunity available for a Scrum Master to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Scrum Master role lies within the newly created Analytics Centre of Excellence within the Global Business Services organization. The Analytics COE has been set up to build, maintain and enhance analytical products for our business to generate actionable insights from data and make better informed decisions. The individual for this position will support the development team and product owner in delivering incremental value each sprint for the products. They will lead and run the scrum and be responsible for managing sprints. Theyll remove impediments and act as a shield from external distractions. They create a safe working environment for the team and are an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and builds higher performing teams. Key Responsibilities Build and coach high performing teams. Lead and manage all scrum related activities for pods building analytical products. Facilitate the daily standup meetings which includes both verbal and email communications to collect and consolidate team updates. Work across sprints to help facilitate capacity conversations and identify work that may be blocked due to resourcing or data challenges. Help organize, prepare, and facilitate planning sessions & estimations for future sprints. Look at key metrics such as sprint velocity, scope, flow and improve the overall pod performance. Flag issues/risks and other key actions that may need to interface with non-agile portions of the company. Manage and activate release plans. Ability to work with relevant engineering teams to ensure DevOps related activities occur as intended. Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals / vision. Ensure Scrum practices are used and improved within and across teams. Identify trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner. Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect & adapt. Facilitate large group discussions. Educate others on Agile methodologies and practices. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters preferred 3-5 years of relevant work experience with Agile and Scrum Language Knowledge: English Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) preferred Knowledge of relevant domains/products/journeys and track record in successful delivery SAFe 5.0 Certifications are a plus Design Thinking Certifications are a plus Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement within the team Confident and skilled at guiding the team through organizational roadblocks to allow Sprints to be completed on time Past software development experience would be ideal Experience with Jira/Confluence is a must, Azure DevOps is optional, Miro or other similar whiteboarding tool is an advantage. • Design and deliver the appropriate analytical approach to address key issues within the organization, by understanding the business problem (through discovery sessions with business SMEs) and translating into analytical requirements.
• Gather detailed user requirements and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high quality results (such as data engineers, business users).
• Manage the delivery of analytical tools from discovery, build and ongoing iterative development. Manage the communication with the business SMEs throughout.
• Build, maintain and enhance analytical solutions including performant Power Query dashboards and interactive reports across multiple functions and disciplines within Kraft Heinz globally.
• Manage and coach junior analysts on the analytical development of solutions.
• Build workflows or scripts that facilitate data preparation, data cleansing and rapid prototyping.
• Automate repetitive manual tasks and support the development process to improve speed to insight.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and work hand in hand to deliver analytical solutions.
• Gather user feedback and bugs and manage in a backlog, ordering per business priority. Work in Agile Sprints to execute the backlog.
• Execute enhancement requests to further improve products post go-live to drive adoption and support change management.
• Ensure thorough testing of products in lower environments before go-live, after which the candidate must manage and fix any bugs to ensure consistency in the tools.
• Raise issues and risks in a timely manner to project manager to ensure appropriate actions can be taken to mitigate.
