Description:The AnalystIII, Enabling Services xe2x80x93 Fleet Operations xe2x80x93 is part of a global team with oversight of the companyxe2x80x99s company car program, an enabler to the BMS commercial organization and key benefit to eligible BMS employees.The Analyst III, Enabling Services xe2x80x93 Fleet Operations is a new resource on our global operations team that will ensure global consistency and connectivity across the category. The role will involve close coordination with Fleet global category leaders and key program partners across BMS (Finance, HR, Safety, Sustainability). The Analyst III will also work directly with Fleet suppliers to contribute to the management of the category.The Analyst III, Enabling Services xe2x80x93 Fleet Operations will build an understanding of BMSxe2x80x99s global, end-to-end operating fleet model. Key responsibilities include: developing a global reporting and analytics solution, financial budget planning and management, PO creation and oversight, policy review, and ad hoc strategic project support to optimize processes.This role will report directly to the Senior Director and Global Category Lead for Fleet, Travel and Conferences & Meetings.Analytic responsibilities of the role may also extend to the Travel and Conferences & Meetings categories as needed.This position has a strong emphasis on analytics and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
Develop & Manage Global Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain data and toolsets to support global reporting (e.g., fleet inventory) and category management activities.
  • Coordinate with category leads to identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure data is updated regularly with a consistent reporting cadence (e.g., monthly).
  • Provide accurate and timely information to support data-driven decision-making for strategic initiatives (e.g., fleet electrification, policy changes) and in response to local regulatory requirements
  • Regular reporting updates to Environmental & Safety team on global fleet
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Management & Administration
  • Track and monitor budgets to ensure financial alignment.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for fleet-related expenses for global and local suppliers, in accordance with approved budgets
  • Pull, clean, and analyze spend data for category leads and business partners.
  • Download and send invoices from Fleet suppliers to SAP inbox (and assess opportunity for process improvement); regularly check for missing invoices
  • Optimize benefit-in-kind (BIK) and tax reporting processes for compliance and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
  • Regularly review and evaluate processes to streamline and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in category management.
  • Partner with category leads to identify and implement best practices for category management, such as mobility solutions and automated toll tags
  • Address feedback from internal users/customers to continually improve processes.
Supplier Performance and Relationship Management Support
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Participate in certain supplier management activities involving key preferred suppliers, developing/assessing metrics for supplier performance.
  • Analyze contracts to generate insights for leadership, empowering Supplier Relationship management efforts with preferred global suppliers.
  • For escalated issues (e.g., with respect to quality/performance), support category leads with the analytics required to solve root cause issues
Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum Requirements:
  • B.S./B. A.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience, or related category domain experience or relevant experience (e.g. finance)
  • Proven experience creating spend analysis reports, leveraging industry standard data analytical & visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SAP/ERP planning modules, etc.
  • Internal stakeholder management, data/information management, category management, process redesign and continuous improvement expertise, project management and performance measurement skills
  • Procurement process knowledge, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management, technology utilization, strategic planning and integrated supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.S./M.B.A.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CPM, CPIM).
  • 1-2 years Pharmaceutical Procurement experience
  • Membership in Professional Associations, e.g. ISM
  • Fleet (and/or Travel and Meetings) Category expertise
