The team carries outQualityAssurance reviewsacrosstheFinancialCrimesCompliance(Sanctions,AML,KYC,ABC)processesinthe Americas.As an Analyst in the GFCD Americas QA team you work on a team that contributes to the operation of the financial crimecomplianceframework.Thus,yourresponsibilitiesandaccountabilitiesinclude, butarenotlimitedto,completing and overseeing the QA program in a business as usual environment to mitigate the financial crime risks.MainResponsibilities:

• Working in a team of Financial Crimes Compliance Quality Assurance reviewers performing QA reviews of financial crimeactivityinMUFGbranches intheAmericasregion,todeterminewhether FinancialCrimesComplianceControl process outputs meet the established quality objectives set out within the GFCD QA Standards.
• Ensuringthattheresults oftheQAreviewsrelating toFinancialCrimesCompliancecontrol processesare communicated to the appropriate parties and are addressed in a timely manner.
• AssistingwiththemaintenanceofwrittenQAproceduresandoperatingmanuals forconductingQAreviewsin accordance with the GFCD QA Standards.
• Supportingtheimplementationofacoordinated,consistent,andrisk-basedQAprograms.
• EscalatingerrorsandexceptionsidentifiedduringQAreviewsinaccordancewiththeGFCDEscalationandIssues Management Standard and the validation of action plans to address QA findings.
• SupportingthecoordinationwithRegionalIssuesManagementtomonitorandtracktheresolutionofQAidentified issues and action plans.
• Supportinggeneralcomplianceactivitiesandotherduties,includingspecialprojectsasassigned.

CandidateProfileSkillsand knowledge:

• Experiencewithmanaging stakeholderrelationshipswithinthelocal function/role
• KnowledgeofavarietyFinancial CrimesCompliancelawsandregulations
• Goodjudgementandanalyticalskills
• Experienceindrafting,designingandexecutingQAReviewsinaccordancewithGlobalPolicies,Standardsand/or Procedures
• Goodwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
• Education&professionalqualifications
• BachelorsDegree orabove

Experience:

• Atleast2yearsofexperiencewithin financialcrimesareaofaglobalbank,consultingfirmorregulatoryagency
• ExperienceinFinancial CrimeComplianceorRegulatoryCompliance:QualityControl / AssuranceFunction; Testing Function and/or Internal/External Audit Function
• Minimumof1yearsexperienceinaQuality Control/Assurance;ComplianceTesting / monitoringand / orAuditFunction
