:Job Title: DDP Division - Associate - Analyst.Location: MumbaiRole DescriptionRegulatory Business Advisor is responsible for implementing the defined organizational regulatory advisory strategy in the relevant business / infrastructure area.
Work includes:
Identifying, prioritizing and Assessing risks and developing the relevant tools, processes, and organizational structures to build and sustain a risk management program
Managing / evaluating the internal controls relating to non-financial risk
Providing regulatory advice to relevant business and/or infrastructure areas
Ensuring that the business and/or infrastructure functions are compliant with the requirements of all stakeholders including regulators
Overseeing the remediation of internal and external findings and obligations assigned by regulatory authorities and monitors; and ensuring consistent tracking and timely closure of findings (incl. reporting)

Your Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure timely issuance of FPI certificate with due adherence to SEBI, RBI and other applicable regulations and ensuring it is in compliance with the Banks policies and procedures. (Maker Level)
  • To undertake all tasks relating to FPI registration and renewal. (Maker Level)
  • To communicate effectively with clients and resolve their queries to smoothen the FPI registration and renewal process. (Maker Level)
  • To Locate Fees and tag it to the correct account.
  • Arrange remittance of fees to SEBI, post registration and renewal
  • To perform required regulatory reporting and other ancillary activities as per extant rules and regulations in a timely manner
  • To process Renewals, Surrender of applications and Static data updations, in a timely manner, and to ensure SEBI Investor Charter does not breach.
  • Supporting RTM / Client facing Teams with query resolution related to Registraions and Account Opening.
  • To Support the Team Lead with Samples for Regulatory and Internal Audits, Inspections.
  • Ensure collation and data updation for Transition Activity with zero miss outs for further review by Team Leads.
Operational efficiency
  • All applications to be processed within TAT.
  • Escalation if any to be done in a timely manner.
  • Follow the checklists as approved by Compliance and highlight any discrepancy if found during reviews.
  • Suggest Automation to team leads, where by time can be saved and perfection can be achieved.
Efficient & effective coordination with all internal teams
  • Communicate and coordinate with all internal functions/stakeholders involved in the Registration process, such as Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), DDP Support team, Client facing team (RTM) , Relationship Managers, AML Officer, Compliance Officer, Sales etc.
  • Updation of KODs as and when the process changes and share with Team Lead for updations
