Main responsibilities

• Continuously and proactively engaging with various stakeholders across the organization to understand their business needs and developing solutions that enable them to make data-driven decisions.
• Build highly impactful and intuitive dashboards that bring the underlying data to life through insights [Power BI, Knime] and effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Support Sourcing KPI reporting, analyses and insights for varied assignments and business requirements, in line with our organizational strategy.
• Provide answers and insights to business related questions and queries via automated reporting solutions as well as ad-hoc analyses.
• Support development of models for forecasting, costing, etc. Monitor key metrics, perform root cause analysis to identify drivers for changes in them.
• Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and implement data analysis tools and techniques to enhance data processing efficiency.
• Interpret data and create reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, and identify opportunities for data quality improvement, in engagement with IT, Advanced Analytics, Cost Accounting, Planning, and 3rd party solution providers.
• Data Maintenance and Documentation: Maintain and update data repositories, databases, and documentation for future reference. Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in data management and analysis.
• Be a promoter of the data driven way of working in Sourcing and beyond.

Educational background and other qualifications sought:

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree within Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or similar from a recognized institution
• 4-8 years of experience within reporting, data analysis field.
• Proficiency in SQL, databases, ETL, and reporting with a hands-on approach.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic data analysis and reporting
• Data transformation and visualization: Proficiency in Business Intelligence, Data Transformation and Visualization tools like Knime (or Alteryx) and Power BI
• Proficiency in data manipulation using tools like SQL and data cleaning techniques to ensure data quality
• Familiarity in programming languages like Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and automation
• Familiarity in cloud-based data storage services like Snowflake
• Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools like ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Data Mining: The ability to discover patterns, trends, and insights within data
• Data Storytelling: The ability to communicate results effectively through data storytelling, using narratives and visualizations to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SAP or other ERP tools

• Exceptional skills in translating complex problems into simpler concepts and effective communication.
• Collaborative, curious, entrepreneurial mindset, and a positive can-do attitude.
• Effective stakeholder management.
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (a prerequisite)
