About the Opportunity
As an Analyst, you will be part of a fast-growing PE-backed business that allows high-performing employees to make an impact and contribute to growing the business. You will have the chance to channel your advanced degree into supporting the development and commercialisation of portfolios, assets and brands by integrating therapeutic, clinical and commercial expertise to ensure that clients are able to make confident decisions.
You will be responsible for supporting competitive strategy engagements across our clients' product and company life cycles, and for growing revenue within existing accounts. As your clients will be global, the Analyst position requires a thorough understanding of the evolving biopharmaceutical market and trends. Knowledge of drug development and commercialisation is also desirable.
• •Reporting•: You will report to a senior executive within Prescient's India office
• •Time Allocation•: 80% of your time will be spent in office, with 20% spent on domestic or international travel (for client meetings, conferences and inter-office visits)
•Key Responsibilities•
• •Secondary Data Analytics:• Sourcing, analysis and reporting of public domain information, be it scientific, clinical, commercial, corporate or market in nature
• •Primary Research:• Conducting discussions with industry experts to understand market trends and competitive positioning. Fluency in other language is beneficial but not a must
• •Conference Planning and Attendance:• Planning for key conference attendance with the objectives of speaking to a wide range of delegates on predetermined topics and attending key symposia, presentations, posters and booths
• •Analysis and Reporting:• Collaborating with other members of the project team to analyse findings, develop conclusions and recommendations and create client presentations that deliver an evidence-based story on the topics in focus
•Required Experience and Skills•
• Post graduate degree in biotechnology, biomedical or pharmaceutical sciences with 6-12 months on Internship experience
• Fluency in English
• Understanding of drug development and commercialisation and/or higher degree of understanding of drug development and commercialization is desirable but not a must for this opportunity
• Confident communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate messages clearly
• Ability to operate effectively and learn quickly as part of a global team
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
