As a key member of the GBS Capabilities Optimization and Automation Solutions team, this role will support the nurturing of a mindset of ongoing innovation and process optimization across the Global GBS locations. This role will closely partner with the automation and Analytics teams within the broader Optimization and Automation solution team to leverage and align those with those capabilities to deliver measurable improvements. The role will also build strong networks with key business partners to ensure alignment with functional strategic objectives in the optimization area.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with multiple stakeholders including functional leadership to support our innovation platform which underpins our innovation strategy
  • Support the continued rollout of our innovation platform, by setting up the functional specific features and users, customizing the site, and coordinating the site launch for the function. This role will generate reports and other types of site data and enables additional features when appropriate.
  • Develop & maintain effective communication with our process innovation champions across geographies to underpin the overall optimization culture and manage ideas and opportunities through prioritization to completion and validation.
  • Support specific strategic optimization projects across all phases of a comprehensive process redesign, such as data gathering, baselining, root cause analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data modelling, future state design, implementation, and validation of results.
  • Influence decision making ensuring key success criteria on optimizations have been reviewed and aligned on. Work with partner functions in recommending the best options to stakeholders and gaining alignment on initiative prioritization.
  • Keep an external view to learn from other companies across pharma and beyond.


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and equivalent 2+ years work experience, preferred.
  • Proven organizational change management experience a
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and influencing skills; ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands. Ability to build effective networks across functions, organizations, job levels and geographies.
  • Self-motivated professional with excellent customer service and strong working/team building relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and is solution orientated.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong Communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Attentive to details to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Flexibility in adapting to a non-routine and fast paced environment.

High self-awareness and ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment, strong communicating skills essential.
