Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing Head for Gujarat to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the region. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in meeting with doctors, and a strategic approach to expanding our product range. Knowledge of DPCO and NPPA regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership
• Lead and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Gujarat market.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to the team.
2. Doctor Engagement
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Conduct regular visits to doctors, clinics, and hospitals to promote our products and gather feedback.
• Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
3. Product Range Expansion
• Identify opportunities to introduce new products and expand the company's portfolio in Gujarat.
• Conduct market research and analysis to develop and launch products and strategies.
4. Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with DPCO and NPPA regulations.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
5. Strategic Planning and Reporting
• Develop and execute regional marketing plans aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis
6. Sales Reporting and Closing
• Prepare detailed closing reports at the end of each reporting period, summarizing sales performance.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
• Present sales reports to senior management and suggest actionable insights.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of DPCO and NPPA regulations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding product ranges.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
