Position Overview:
The Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) Specialist will play a critical role in the aerospace industry by developing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation and ensuring accurate measurements for aerospace components. This role involves the preparation, review, and coordination of aircraft maintenance manuals, as well as the operation and management of CMMs used to measure complex parts and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Development:
• Develop, review, and update aircraft maintenance manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to gather technical information and incorporate changes into the AMM.
• Ensure the accuracy and clarity of documentation, including instructions for repair, troubleshooting, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in regular audits and reviews of maintenance documentation to guarantee consistency and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage revision records and maintain documentation databases.
• Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) Operations:
• Operate and program CMMs to inspect and measure aerospace components with high precision.
• Analyze and interpret measurement data, ensuring parts meet dimensional requirements and tolerances.
• Develop and implement measurement plans, procedures, and best practices for the inspection process.
• Maintain CMM equipment, perform calibration, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support engineering teams in root cause analysis for dimensional discrepancies or quality issues.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all AMM documentation adheres to applicable aerospace standards, such as FAA, EASA, or other regulatory bodies.
• Promote and follow safety guidelines in all operations related to aircraft maintenance documentation and measurement processes.
• Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on the use of AMM and CMMs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Work closely with design engineers, manufacturing, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of measurement and documentation practices.
• Facilitate communication between teams to resolve issues related to documentation, measurements, and quality control.
• Provide technical support and expertise in AMM content and CMM operation.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering,
