Ambulance Driver
Job Description
Job Purpose:
To safely transport patients to medical facilities, responding to emergencies and ensuring compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive ambulance safely and efficiently, prioritizing patient care and safety.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess situations, and navigate routes.
• Assist in loading/unloading patients, ensuring proper care during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare professionals, and emergency personnel.
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness, perform equipment checks, and document operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Certification as an EMT preferred.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and emergency vehicle operation.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
• Varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Potential exposure to stressful and emotional situations.
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
