Associate / Senior Associate - Corporate Development

We are a next-generation media technology company that provides cloud broadcast and targeted advertising solutions to broadcast TV and streaming TV platforms. Amagi enables content owners to launch, distribute, and monetize live linear channels on Free Ad-supported Streaming TV and video services platforms. Amagi has a presence in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Paris, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, and broadcast operations in New Delhi, and an innovation center in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop inorganic strategy and help in the identification of M&A and minority investment opportunities. Develop a profile of M&A targets and investment opportunities on an ongoing basis.

- Assist with all aspects of the execution of M&A and fundraising transactions of the company, including developing the transaction/acquisition thesis, diligence, and transaction documentation. Involves rigorous financial and accounting analysis coupled with excellent writing skills.

- Lead competitive intelligence for the company - staying on top of industry trends, and the strategic steps of competitors and customers.

- Analyze the quarterly reports of publicly traded companies in the industry and create a summary for internal distribution.

- Analyze the monthly and quarterly performance of the company using MIS and benchmark it to the quarterly performance of competitors.

Qualification and Skills Required:

- 2-3 years of equity research/investment banking/strategy consulting. CA or CFA is a significant plus. An MBA from a top institute is preferred but not essential.

- Highly skilled in financial modeling and creating reports and investment memos based on financial analysis.

- Strong written skills in publishing documents, memos, and PowerPoint presentations.
