Job Title: Manager : AM/ Manager - Procurement Based at: Mumbai Department: Projects Reports to: Projects incharge Required Qualification: Min: BE Civil Max: ME / M.Tech Civil / Diploma civil engineering/ any degree with sufficient relevant experience Preferred Experience: 6 -10 years of relevant experience into Procurement from hospitality development background. Job Purpose: Responsible for all functions related to material procurement for greenfield and brownfield projects in the firm Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (KRA): Preparation of RFQ and BOQ. Inviting suppliers for negotiations Preparation of Comparative Statements. Preparation of Purchase Orders and Payment Certificates. Follow up with suppliers for supplies. Follow up and coordination with various sales for receipt status. Coordination with accounts for payments. To maintain a database as a reference point for different packages of vendors. To be updated on all the latest technologies and products available in the market relating to civil finishes, interior finishes, MEP equipment &; fixtures, OS&;E, FF&;E etc. Arranging for display of product samples. To organize seminars and presentations internally to inform various department about new products launched by vendors. Technical Skill Set Required: Basic Ability to understand design requirement Basic ability to pick data from AutoCad drawings Excellent in Material related information Awareness of new technologies and market trends Ability to suggest cost effective alternate/new materials/technology for Greenfield as well as brownfield projects. Good in information Management Skills Good Computing Skills
