JOB Description
1. Exim Operations Management:
o Manage end-to-end export and import processes, including documentation, clearances, and compliance.
o Ensure adherence to DGFT, Customs, and EXIM policies.
o Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities.
o Handle EPCG, Advance License, Duty Drawback (DBK), RoDTEP, and other schemes.
o Maintain up-to-date records of licenses, certifications, and compliance requirements.
o Optimize shipping costs and transit times.
o Manage AEO certification and compliance to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.2. Raw Material Warehouse Management:
o Plan, organize, and oversee inventory management for raw materials.
o Implement inventory control systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
o Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and accurate record-keeping.
o Monitor quality standards and handle deviations effectively.
o Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishments.3. Finished Goods Warehouse Management:
o Ensure efficient storage and handling of finished goods.
o Maintain optimal inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits.
o Develop and enforce warehouse safety and hygiene standards.
o Implement warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.4. Dispatch Operations:
o Plan and execute timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
o Optimize route planning and logistics costs.
o Maintain coordination with transporters and logistics providers.
o Monitor dispatch schedules, ensure accurate documentation, and track deliveries.5. Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead and mentor a team of warehouse managers, supervisors, and logistics coordinators.
o Conduct performance reviews and training programs to enhance team capabilities.
o Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.6. Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with international trade laws, safety regulations, and quality standards.
o Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, dispatch performance, and cost metrics to management.
