Skills:
- Expert understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS and CSS preprocessors such as LESS and SASS
- Expert understanding of JavaScript , Tailwind CSS and TypeScript, including frameworks such as React and Next with Alokai as Frontend as a Service Stack.
- Expert understanding of headless or platform (SFCC, Magento, etc) specific architecture
- Knowledgeable in CMS, including headless CMS such as Builder.io or Contentful.
- 8-10 + years of commerce experience
- Fluent in English with excellent communication
- A keen eye for scope creep, solid judgment, and a pragmatic, collaborative approach to solving challenges of scope & budget
- Expert understanding of command line build utilities and task runners like npm and webpack
- Expert understanding of asynchronous requests, API integrations, partial page updates, SEO optimization & SSR, and page performance troubleshooting & optimization
- Understanding usability concerns and experience in delivering standard, compliant and accessible solutions (WCAG)
- A commitment to documentation, consistency, reusability, and an eye for the big picture \xe2\x80\x93 approaching projects in ways that will grow and strengthen our practice
- Expert level understanding of version control systems including Bitbucket
- Knowledge of common design patterns and methodologies
Good to Have
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Agency or consulting experience is a bonus, as are strong client communication and presentation skills
- Full stack familiarities such as Node.js
- Familiarity with DevOps such as Kubernetes, Jenkins and Docker
