We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python Rest API Alation and Data Catalog with a strong background in Finance and Accounting. This role will involve developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our financial operations and data management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python to support financial operations.
• Design and implement Rest APIs to ensure seamless integration with various systems.
• Utilize Alation and Data Catalog tools to manage and organize data effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features.
• Provide technical expertise in Finance and Accounting to ensure software solutions meet industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed software and APIs.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality software solutions that drive business growth.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations in all developed solutions.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Python programming and software development.
• Have extensive knowledge of Rest API design and implementation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Alation and Data Catalog tools.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.
• Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Have experience working in an agile development environment.
• Display strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
