Business Development Manager
- Alariss Global is hiring a business development manager for our India and APAC Sales and Business Development team.
- Alariss Global https://www.alariss.com/ is a fast-growing San Francisco-based tech startup in the global expansion space. We are backed by top Silicon Valley VCs and serve clients in China, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa who are looking to expand into the U.S. market. The CEO has a Harvard BA, Princeton MPA, and Stanford MBA and was the former VP of Growth for a top 100 Y Combinator company, and the Managing Director APAC was the former MD APAC of both Western Union and Moneygram. This position reports directly to the MD APAC and will offer the opportunity to gain skills in international business, grow with an exciting and inclusive team, and receive mentorship and professional development from industry experts.
- The majority of the team is based in the United States and we are hiring for a business development manager based ideally in Bangalore, Delhi, or Mumbai.

- Your responsibilities will include supporting the India business team on all sales enablement projects, sourcing, pitching, nurturing relationships with, and closing customers and partners in India-technology companies who are looking for global expansion resources and want to do international business, particularly in the U.S.
- Our target customers are high-growth technology companies, including B2B SaaS, fintech, healthtech, and e-commerce startups. In order to be successful in this role, you will do a combination of running various growth campaigns, meeting with prospects either over Zoom or in person to educate them about our global expansion resources and to sign contracts, and maintaining our CRM and improving upon customer acquisition processes.
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of tech sales experience in a closing capacity
- Close ties in the tech and venture ecosystem
- Demonstrated track record of success in relationship management and sales
- Familiarity with lead generation and sales automation tools
- Familiarity with lead generation and sales automation tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and with teammates in different time zones
- High integrity and trustworthiness
- Eagerness to learn and a demonstrated desire for professional growth
