The Role
Primary Expertise - Linux and AIX
Secondary Expertise - SUSE, Ubantu and CentOS
Will be leading the Unix Tower who are working 24x7 from Customer Location at Bangalore.
Will be responsible for 100% Uptime of the servers
Will ensure that all backups of the servers are taken as per the backup policy and that they can be restored at the time of need
Will ensure that that all versions of the OS/VIOS etc. are up to date and if there are any EOL/EOS devices, proper risk documents are shared with the customer and appropriate action with respect to their upgrade are taken in time
100% compliance in terms of patching, Security Health Check and Vulnerability metrix
100% maintenance of all dashboard, reports (daily, weekly, monthly or any ad-hoc reports asked by Kyndryl or Customer)
Preparing the Monthly Shift roaster and submitting before the end of the month
Maintaining leave calendar for the team
Who You Are
Educational qualification - B.Tech or MCA
Experience - More than 5 years of relevant experience and leading a team
Hands on experience in one or more of the following - AIX / Linux
Added experience on SUSE / Ubuntu / CentOS will be an added advantage
Must be ready to work from Customer location
Job will require to work on weekends if there is any issue and will also require to work end to end till the issue is resolved

• Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
