Overview:

Aircraft Galley Design Engineers
Responsibilities:
• In depth Knowledge/work experience on Aircraft Interior Design.
• In depth Knowledge/ work experience on Designing Machined and Composite Composite (Honey comb panels).
• In depth knowledge on Trolleys design and Galley Structure Design and attachments used in Galleys.
• In depth knowledge on Inserts, Brackets and stowage's to accommodate (Oven, Beverage Maker etc.) in Galley.
• Good Knowledge on Aerospace domain, manufacturing, and assembly process.
• Good understanding of Aerospace standards of working procedures applicable in Galley Design.
• Good knowledge in Drafting and implementing changes arising from production.
• Understanding of Stress requirements and coordinate with stress assessment team for design solution verifications.
• Basic Knowledge on plumbing design and electrical Harness will be an added advantage.
• Approved Design Signatory for Galley Desing will be an added advantage.
• Having knowledge of GD&T is added skill advantage.
• Knowledge on CATIA V5 Tubing will be added advantage.
• Proficiency on French & German language is an added advantage.
• Good Verbal and written English skills.


Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
Essential skills:
• Good knowledge in Designing Structural Components in Composites, Sheet metal and plastics with respect to galley design.
• Good knowledge on trim and finishes both in Cabin interiors and Seating.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 Part Design, Surface, Sheet Metal, Drafting & Assembly workbenches.
• Perform all the above activities independently and mentor team members.
