DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:Develops relationships with carriers to effectively procure the space and pricing for the geographical responsibilityCreates strategic relationships with Air carriersProcurement on Air Carriers (within geographical responsibility)Negotiates and maintains competitive service contractsLeads communication efforts with Air carriers and commercial resources to optimize tender strategyBuilds relationships and supports teams internally (Branches) and externally (customers)Works with sales and pricing teams to provide carrier data for bidsSubject Matter Expert (SME) for Air export carrier relations and to present market updates to clientsDevelops carrier relationships to successfully procure necessary space allocations and equipmentProvides network with market analysis and communicationsCreates professional presentations to be shared with network and customers providing carrier and data analysis to communicate risks and propose alternativesInvolvement and provide pricing for (within geographical responsibility) RFQxe2x80x99sWorks with the restricted commodities team to review and approve restricted commodities requests for exportUnderstands FMC regulations to ensure complianceEngaged in bids for strategySubject Matter Expert (SME) For matters pertaining to Air export operationsDevelop, maintain and manage processes related to contracts submission, review, and retention i.e. forms, templates, termsIdentify areas for improvement related to C.H. Robinsonxe2x80x99s contract processes and workflowsCollect and maintain company contracts, approvals, signatures, and related documentsContribute to general team initiatives, including taking on special projects as necessaryOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirementsQUALIFICATIONSRequired:Graduation in a recognized universityMinimum 2-4 years of product management experienceAbility to travel up to 20% (within geographical responsibility)Preferred:Previous Air export and import experienceGlobal Forwarding pricing experienceBachelorxe2x80x99s degree from an accredited college or universityDemonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skillsDemonstrated verbal and written communication and multi-tasking skills, including excellent project and meeting managementAdvanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of productsFlexible working hoursValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentDisclaimer:This job description is intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position.
