Location - Hyderabad




The primary responsibility of the AI Tolled Tech Center Lead is to deliver process safety excellence, technology standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across FMC's tolled AI and Intermediate manufacturing facilities. The AI Tolled TC Lead will also be responsible for ensuring successful transfer of new products from R&D into commercial production.




Principle Responsibilities:




Drive Process Safety -


• Implement and ensure adherence to Process Safety Standard
• Champion for EHS excellence and injury free culture
• Accountable to drive implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) program, specifically the Process Safety Information (PSI) and cyclical Process Hazardous Analysis (PHA) process, in alignment with goal from the Process Safety Organization
• Partner with toller to drive organization towards best practices while meeting local Health, Safety, Security and Environmental System requirement.


Drive Continuous Improvement -


• Execute process improvement opportunities and implement standard methodologies.
• Drive a culture of data-based decision making to identify and execute continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Lead process to prioritize improvement opportunities by applying defined business drivers, affordability, and timing.
• Implement organizational productivity measures to monitor and benchmark improvement results.
• Champion implementation of standardized methodologies of analysis, development, and execution of continuous improvement projects.
• Works across core functions (business, supply chain, procurement, and R&D) to develop long term strategies in coordination with tolling partners.
• Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) - Lead transition of new products from R&D technical packages to a commercial scale production.
• Develop capability in the organization to lead transfer of new product from R&D into commercial production.
• Develop road map to deliver pilot plant scale-up and process design activities to enable regulatory sample submission and capital project development in support of new products.
• Establish standardized process for completion of new product introduction to commercial production.


Drive Standardization Across Sites and Develop Technical Talent -


• Implement standards consistently across sites while developing critical technical talents.
• Drive standardization of process technology in coordination with the Technical Guardianship group
• Network with Technology Guardian organization to establish standard methods and tools for use by global tech center teams.
• Attract and remain strong technical resources by supporting the growth and development of team members.


Requirements:


• 10-15 years of management experience in chemical manufacturing industries with international experiences
• Plant management experience preferred.
• Strong safety leadership and experience with process safety management.
• Experience in the production and handling hazardous materials.
• Experience in developing and leading a cross function teams of technical staff.
• Experiences applying data-based decision making and strong results driven/action orientated approach to leadership.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence senior business leaders.
• Motivated, self-starter that can execute with minimal direction,
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel on a frequency basis ~30%.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical engineering or engineering related filed.
