Renusagar Power Division was established in1964 with capacity of 135 MW & has grown to its present capacity of 741.7 MW. In adhering to the Founders Dream into reality, Renusagar Power Division undertaken variousRural Development programmes in 32 villages of Muirpur Block.To align Rural Development strategy with the Business strategy.To initiate sustainable development programme instead of Charity oriented programme.To identify & Plan need based programme.To ensure people participation in Rural Development activity.To create aware in the community about their rights, duties and development programme.To ensure partnership in project of village development institution.To win good will of the community by creating awareness of the Rural Development initiative taken by the company.Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)

KRA4 Economic self reliance & Watershed development Field survey, village meeting, workshop and coordination with Gram Sabha for implementation of the projectDistribution of advance tools in different trades for self-employment.Imparting Self-Employment Training.Identification of watershed area and construction of watershed structure like check dam, farm pond and well for irrigation and drinking water.Encouraging Cash Crop in area through Developing demonstration field.Developing Self help Group in village to encourage group employment.Providing Revolving fund to Self Help Group to initiate business.
KRA5 Education & Capacity Building Aid to meritorious student in the form of scholarship.Provide help to schools by arranging Tat Patti and other things.Identification of Training needs of different level and organizing training.Developing Training module and conduction training.Conducting and organizing issue based Awareness Camps.Conduct meetings, workshops with villagers, Gram Pradhans, Teachers regularly.
KRA6 Health & Family Welfare Arrangement is made for availability of safe drinking water by bleaching the drinkingwater, repairing and installation of Hand Pumps.Organize Rural Medical services in villages like General Health camps, ENT, Dental &Eye camps.Identify TB & Leprosy patients and ensure regular and proper treatment through district hospitals and dispensaries.Organize regular Homeopathic clinic in villages as a alternative health services.Organize and create mass awareness about family planning camps and vaccination with active cooperation of volunteers.Regular monitoring of Village Family Welfare Centre.
KRA7 Infrastructure Development Make aware to the community about various Infrastructure development programme of government like Indra Awas, Nirmal Awas yojna.Providing work opportunity through coordination with different agencies taking construction work like Road, water harvesting structure & Building..Construction of Family Welfare Center and repairing of community center.Organize regular meeting with Gram Sabha.
