Job Title: Agronomist Company: GreenGrahi Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Location: The candidate is required to be flexible Job Type: Full-Time About Us: GreenGrahi is a leading agri-biotech company specializing in the sustainable cultivation of Black Soldier Flies (BSF) for various applications, including animal and plant nutrition. We are committed to advancing the science of insect farming and are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Agronomist to join our team. : The Agronomist will play a critical role in conducting field trials, research, and development activities related to our insect-based products, with a focus on insect-based organic fertilizer and growth booster and its impact on overall growth performance, crop health and productivity, tolerance power, disease resistance etc. The role involves collaborating closely with our R&D team and farm partners to enhance our understanding of insect-based organic fertilizer and growth boosters, their applications in agriculture, and the creation of innovative formulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Field Trials: Plan, execute, and manage field trials on farms involving various crops to evaluate the impact of fertilizer/boosters on plant growth performance, yield, and defense mechanisms and also changes in the level of nutrient content of the soil, plants, etc. 2. Research and Development: Conduct in-depth R&D on fertilizer/boosters properties, nutrient content, and its potential benefits for crop production. 3. Formulation Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop microbial-based innovative formulations for fertilizer/boosters to improve plant health, nutrient uptake, disease resistance, etc. 4. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from field trials and experiments to draw meaningful insights and recommendations. 5. Collaboration: Collaborate with farm partners, universities, and research institutions to expand knowledge of the products and their applications. 6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of research activities, results, and findings for reporting and future reference. Qualification Criteria: - Bachelor\'s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred. - Proven experience in agronomy, field trials, and crop management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role. - Strong understanding of soil science, plant physiology, and agricultural practices. - Interest in microbiology - Knowledge of sustainable and organic farming principles. - Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Innovative mindset with a passion for sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Educational Criteria: A bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture or a related field is the minimum educational requirement. A Master\'s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related discipline is highly desirable and may be preferred, especially for candidates with extensive experience in agronomy research.
