We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate

Agronomist

to join our team. The role involves providing technical support to farmers, advising on crop production, soil management, and the effective use of agricultural products. The ideal candidate will be involved in field trials, data collection, and recommending practical solutions to improve productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

:

Provide agronomic advice to farmers on crop selection, planting, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting Conduct field visits to monitor crop performance and diagnose issues Conduct soil testing and recommend appropriate fertilizers and nutrient management strategies Design and implement field trials to test new seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and techniques Collect and analyze data on crop yields, soil health, weather, and pest outbreaks Train farmers on best agricultural practices and promote sustainable farming methods Collaborate with R&D, sales, and extension teams for product development and demonstration Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in agriculture

Qualifications and Skills

:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or related field Strong knowledge of crop physiology, soil science, and plant protection Experience in field trials, farmer training, or crop advisory preferred Excellent communication skills in local language (Gujarati/Hindi) and English Ability to travel extensively to rural areas and work in the field environment Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis

Preferred

:

Knowledge of local cropping patterns and agro-climatic conditions Experience working with FPOs, agri-input companies, or government projects Familiarity with digital farming tools and mobile apps is a plus

Working Conditions

:

Field-based with travel to villages, farms, and demo plots 6-day work week (flexible based on crop season)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?12,271.53 - ?49,252.45 per month
