AGROCOPS - AGRICULTURE CHARGE OFFICER
JOB OVERVIEW
Agrocops, a leading organic agriculture promoting organisation with Head Office at Trivandrum is looking for enthusiastic and energetic Officer with a background preferably in Agriculture to oversee and manage field operations related to rural outreach, panchayat visits, and field inspections, sales monitoring of Outlets across the State of Kerala.
The ideal candidate shall possess strong communication, management skills, presentation and public oratory skills with the ability to engage with farmers local communities, government offices, and rural development organisations.

•Location: Kerala Region •
•Reports To: General Manager - Projects •
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Field Visits and Inspections
2. Conduct regular visits to various panchayats and rural areas for project implementation and monitoring.
3. Inspect the agricultural practices, collect data, and provide technical support and guidance to local farmers and communities.
4. Sales monitoring of Outlets
5. Monitor the progress of government schemes and programs at the grassroots level.
6. Report findings, issues, and recommendations to management.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
1. Coordinate with local government offices, panchayat officials, and community leaders to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Foster relationships with farmers, community groups, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and promote project participation.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING
1. Monitor the progress of assigned field-based projects and ensure they meet objectives and timelines.
2. Manage the allocation of resources and ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
3. Prepare and submit regular reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
PUBLIC SPEAKING AND PRESENTATIONS
1. Represent the organization at public events, meetings, and workshops with stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of key messages.
2. Lead training sessions, awareness programs, and community outreach activities related to agriculture and rural development.
DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING
1. Collect, record, and analyze field data to assess the impact of various initiatives and programs.
2. Maintain accurate records of field activities and prepare periodic reports on project outcomes.
3. Problem-Solving and Decision Makinn
4. Identify challenges in the field and work with the team to develop solutions.
5. Provide on-ground support to address and resolve any issues related to project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS& EXPERIENCE
1. Education: Bachelor's degree, preferebly in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture or equivalent).
2. Experience:1 Year Experience / Internship in similar role. Freshers with BSC (Ag) background may also apply.
SKILLS:
1. Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, rural development, and government schemes.
2. Experience in field visits and rural monitoring.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups.
4. Ability to manage and monitor ongoing projects and deliver results.
5. Public speaking and stage presence for training sessions and community events.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
