Roles & Responsibilities:xefx82xb7 Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential new customers
xefx82xb7 Segment customers cohorts and create GTM strategy based on customer requirements in these cohorts
xefx82xb7 Develop and execute a lead generation plan to reach out to potential new and existing customers
xefx82xb7 Build relationships with key decision-makers at potential new and existing customers
xefx82xb7 Understand the needs of customers and tailor sales pitch accordingly
xefx82xb7 Work with sales team to develop a customer wise sales plan and plan of action for new and existing
customers
xefx82xb7 Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to sales and support the inventory planning team
with aggregate projections across customers
xefx82xb7 Negotiate and close sales contracts with new and existing customers
xefx82xb7 Track and report on sales performance.
xefx82xb7 Coordinate with internal stakeholders in supply chain to resolve any OTIF/ service issues.
xefx82xb7 Assist in developing and implementing sales procedures, and best practices.
xefx82xb7 Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to improve inventory planning
processes.Who can apply:xefx82xb7 Master's degree from a premier institute preferably in sales, marketing or equivalent
xefx82xb7 8+ years of experience in a business development role
xefx82xb7 Proficiency in making sales pitch, consultative selling and driving leads to conversion
xefx82xb7 Knowledge of steel industry products and best practices in sales
xefx82xb7 Willingness to travel across the region for customer visits
xefx82xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
xefx82xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
xefx82xb7 Familiarity with MS excel, sales plan creation and reporting
xefx82xb7 Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working,
specifically in strategy deployment
xefx82xb7 Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment
xefx82xb7 Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances
xefx82xb7 Participate in strategic projects along with BU leadership
