Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Planning and Monitoring will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and monitoring of construction and roadway projects. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The AGM will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1 .Develop and Finalize the Operational and Governance Framework:

Design and implement a comprehensive framework for project planning and monitoring, including subcontracting protocols, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), revenue projections, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

2. R eview and Approve Project Work Plans:

Evaluate and approve work plans for projects, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms and project specifications. Monitor for adherence to deadlines, scope, and quality standards.

3. Collaborate with Key Stakeholders for Project Scheduling:

Work closely with the Director, Project Manager, Chief Project Manager, and Head of Operations to finalize project schedules for both existing and new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and resource availability.

4. Develop, Implement, and Monitor Project Plans, Schedules, and Budgets:

Oversee the creation and management of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective tracking of progress and timely adjustments to meet project goals.

5. Ensure Adherence to Project Timelines and Quality Standards:

Monitor ongoing projects to ensure strict adherence to established timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry standards, proactively addressing any potential deviations.

6. Review and Approve Project Work Plans:

Ensure that project work plans align with contractual obligations and organizational requirements by conducting thorough reviews and granting necessary approvals.

7. Facilitate Cross-Project Knowledge Sharing:

Collaborate with other functional heads to establish platforms for sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned across projects, fostering continuous improvement in project planning and execution.

8. Develop a System for Periodic Schedule Updates:

Design and implement a system for regular schedule updates based on the analysis of planned versus actual progress, factoring in ground-level realities such as material availability, manpower, and external dependencies.

9. Ensure Timely Execution of Subcontracts:

Review and track all subcontract agreements to ensure timely execution and alignment with project schedules, mitigating any risks to project completion.

B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil -12-15 Years Experience in Planning & Monitoring Construction, Roadways Projects
