  • Manage delivery of business requirements on self-care Channel management applications (like USSD, Queue / Token Management System, TCGMS, Self-service Kiosks, SMS Automation Gateway, etc.) for Projects & CRs.
  • Lead as an SME for these channel management applications & participate & contribute to the impact assessment & effort estimation discussions pertaining to these applications.
  • Assess & monitor the overall resource utilization & effort allocation of the partner resources working on BAU demands
  • Review & approve the standard delivery SLAs across partners as per defined agreements.
  • Analysis & review proposed L3 fixes/security audit observations & make necessary decisions to address it.
  • Participate in solution walkthroughs for ongoing BAU projects & review & approve overall efforts for channel applications based on Function point analysis of submitted efforts.
  • Management reporting, prepare review slides & reports for weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews.
  • Lead the weekly progress meetings with partner teams to review progress, dependencies, risk & dependencies pertaining to the demand delivery.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation (risks, actions, issues, dependencies and changes), publish project status reports to concerned stakeholders, presentations (Show & Tell of the project to business users), organize related meeting and publish MOM to relevant stakeholders.
Key Result Areas/AccountabilitiesFor BAU Demand Delivery -
  • Ensure demands are delivered on time & first time right as per business requirements agreed & signed off.
  • Ensure relevant project deliverables like Product backlog (in case of CRs) & Project plan (in case of projects) are submitted for business review on time.
  • Own to resolve the dependencies & risks (if identified) in discussion with various partner & business teams.
  • Ensure project progress is diligently updated on ITDM/Octane tool.
  • Ensure alignment with release & operations team for deployment & handover
For SME Role -
  • Responsible for assisting solution team (as found necessary) on effort estimation & impact assessment.
  • Participate in impact assessment sessions with architecture team, Operations team & Infrastructure teams (wherever found necessary) & provide relevant inputs required from SME perspective.
For Reporting & Review -
  • Review & approve delivery SLAs.
  • Monitor & approve efforts & identified changes pertaining to security/L3 fixes.
  • Lead weekly review meetings with partners to assess overall delivery of ongoing demands/CRs.
  • Prepare Review slides/reports (on need basis) for VI Management reviews.
  • Maintain operational stability by effective monitoring of production defect fixing via evaluating root cause analysis & provide guidance to partners accordingly
For Stakeholder Management -
  • Stakeholder management (Various Business Functions, Internal IT Portfolios and Multiple Vendor Team), ensure that all testing cycles are closed and signoffs received as per defined acceptance standards and share required artefacts to release team alignment prior deployment of code into production.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • Overall 8 - 10 years of experience in IT telecom, project management skills to handle transition & integration projects. Knowledge of incorporating various SDLC methodologies like Agile (Scrum Master), Waterfall.
  • Sound knowledge in various Effort estimation techniques - Function point analysis, Story points, etc.
  • In-depth telecom domain knowledge for understanding Core BSS modules for a telecom IT framework. With proven expertise to prioritize, negotiate & deliver business requirements in a quick turnaround time.
  • Strong communications, Analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Business strategy aptitude, Decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel/MS Project/PowerPoint. Good knowledge & hands on experience on Java, SQL and process automation tools would be added advantage.
  • Certifications(If any) - Certified Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2
