Role Project Manager - Revenue Application [Billing, EBPP and RA Apps] Job Level/ Designation M2/ - Assistant General Manager Function / Department Solution Delivery - Information Technology Location Pune - IT HUB - HJW Job Purpose Manage development, maintenance and delivery of Business/IT capabilities in the area of Revenue Management portfolio. Act as an SME in any of the areas of Telecom postpaid Billing domain (Amdocs RLC, Rating, Billing and invoicing, etc. Electronic Bill Presentment Applications enabling Bill Formatting, Bill Generation, document archiving and Delivery Any other Amdocs Billing Modules (Customer Management, AR & Collections etc.) Support Internal cross-functional technology teams by providing Application specific inputs during requirement feasibility, solution and integration. Coordinate/collaborate with multiple partners/vendors to arrive at integrated project plan for demand delivery including small and medium transformation programs and drive partners to deliver within agreed milestones, scope and with quality. Conduct regular project reviews, manage risks, work on issues resolution and manage stakeholders and related communication. Role involves executing projects using various SDLC methodologies like Agile & Waterfall, also having good knowledge of DevOps , release automation tools, code review etc . Critical element of the role is to ensure zero defect delivery and bridge gaps between various stakeholders. Role is accountable for closure of the project in stipulated time frames. Support closure of L3 production issues on priority to ensure stable and streamlined operations. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Sought out as a SME (Telecom Billing) in telecom domain with understanding of Mobility and Enterprise Billing Domain and its integration touchpoints in Telecom BSS stack - preferred experience in Amdocs Billing system, CSG Interconnect Billing, Oracle Billing and Nodal reporting Applications. Execute projects related to environment setups/upgrades, integration and migration of applications in the BSS portfolio particularly Billing. Solution reviews - Participation in solution and low-level design documents review for the demands to ensure that it\'s aligned with the business requirements. Demand Delivery - Delivery of small & medium projects in Waterfall / Agile methodology. Liaising & managing partners to ensure delivery as per the agreed solution. Effort Review and Estimation & Project management : Validate / review Delivery efforts, Project plan and approve development, build, Testing approach, SIT execution and releases and ensure project gets delivered as per the agreed milestones. L3 support: Analysis, review and tracking of L3 incident fixes to ensure it\'s resolved within the agreed SLA. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience 6-10 years of experience in IT deliveries for BSS applications in telecom billing domain. Sound knowledge of Telecom domain (preferably COTS products viz Amdocs Billing, Electronic Bill presentment Application, related business process and IT mapping across BSS. Technical Knowledge and understanding of APIs, Databases and KAFKA technologies for distributed processing of large volumes of data and Event Notifications. Knowledge of Service oriented architecture and practices. Understanding of eTOM Framework and TMForum TAM (Telecoms Applications Map) processes. Experience in product implementation, mapping and migration of Billing Applications (Wholesale and Retail). Experience of working in multi-vendors/Multi stakeholder assignments, thus understanding diverse processes and approaches. Exposure of DevOps and CI-CD processes Strong grasping capability, communications ,interpersonal and negotiation skills Competent in Microsoft project professional / Excel / power point /Visio/word Must have technical / professional qualifications BE/B-tech/MCA degree or Management degree in IT/Systems Sound knowledge of Agile/DevOps frameworks/methodology and Tools Sound Knowledge of SDLC Industry certifications Technical degree from Premium institute will be an added advantage Vodafone Idea Limited (formerly Idea Cellular Limited) An Aditya Birla Group & Vodafone partnership
