  • The IoT Connectivity market today has a huge potential with Vodafone Idea Ltd. being the market leader. This role is responsible to build and deliver a short term and long-term strategic roadmap and manage the complete lifecycle of eSim (UICC & eUICC) product portfolio that comprises a major portion of our IoT revenue today.
  • Manage existing Product Portfolio, Enhance the Product portfolio as per Market and Business nee, align with the overall business strategy of improving profitability, enhancing revenue, improving win ability and maintaining the revenue market leadership position.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
  • Being a highly dynamic & price sensitive market with a strong regulatory framework , aligning the Product roadmap basis the business opportunities ,customer insights, market, regulations to create strong industry first differentiators & design the positioning & Go to Market to improve win ability,
  • Drive detailed Product business plan to include market share aspirations, revenue projections, sales mix, and investment guidelines.
  • Product lifecycle management to increase revenue while ensuring profitability (EBITDA)
  • Bringing in operational efficiencies to enhance CXX of the eSim product portfolio.
  • Rigorous sales and funnel governance to increase revenue market share. Actively participate in key strategic deals for these products by providing product support.
  • Define the Product roadmap and deliver new products/capabilities .Need-gap analysis, Business requirement documentation, business case signoff , product documentation, UAT, Business Simulation and Go-to-market plan for new products and capabilities
  • Deliver early success on new products and capabilities launched, and monitor new product performance with respect to revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive day-to-day product and revenue management by effectively interfacing with cross-functional teams including Technology, Customer Service, Finance, Sales Segments, and Commercial etc.

  • eSIm Product PNL and Growth in line with DB plan
  • Annual and Long Range Planning - market and customer insight, business objectives, depth of analysis, extent of detailing and timelines
  • Successful introduction of new Product capabilities that enable opening up new revenue streams and moving up the value chain in IoT
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • Domain expertise and knowledge of
  • Telecom BSS & OSS systems, technologies and services (APN, 2G,3G, 4G, LTE, VOLTE,5G
  • Various Sim including eSIm (UICC & eUICC) technologies used in M2M/IoT
  • Expertise knowledge of GSMA and 3GPP released consumer, m2m, IoT Architecture and Specifications
  • Expert knowledge of M2M Device, Sim Module and other components supporting eSim (UICC & eUICC
  • Cellular technologies - 2G, 3G,4G, 5G, LTE, VoLTE, NBIoT, etc.
  • M2M Non-cellular technologies - WAN/ FAN technologies, HAN & NAN, 6LoWPAN, Power Line Communication, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Ethernet, Home Plug, RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, Tetra (Terrestrial Trunked Radio), LoRa
  • M2M/IoT Applications in Various Sectors, example, Smart cities Automotive (VTS, Connected Car), Power , Smart Water , Healthcare , Safety and Surveillance , Agriculture, Supply Chain (PDS), PoS/Sound box, etc.
  • Regulations pertaining to M2M/IoT and other telecom services (DoT, TRAI, TEC, AS etc.)
  • Standards - GSMA, 3GPP, ETSI M2M, IETF ROLL,ITU,TSDSI
  • M2M/IoT- Platforms, Devices and Sensors
  • Experience in partner management, both internal and external
  • Experience in handling dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments, response to Large RFP\'s
  • Expertise with managing products through their full life cycle and the through a robust and rigorous Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
  • Powerful influencing / negotiation skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix-organization
  • End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering products through new product development cycles and as building robust Go-to-market plans. Strong systems and process orientation.
Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • Minimum Qualification BE or equivalent
  • Associate certification wrt Telecom BSS / OSS
  • Technology certifications Telecom, Networks etc.
  • Certification wrt IoT, platforms, technologies etc.
Years of Experience
  • Overall experience not less than 10 years, with Minimum 5 years\' experience of eSim product lifecycle management ideally in the telecommunications, IoT , IT or Technology industry
