  • To ensure industry-best techno-commercial deals in the area of IP and Optics
  • To achieve maximum synergy savings and best possible prices and credit terms for the company
Key Result Areas/AccountabilitiesActive NW procurement -Transmission
  • Releasing the commercial RFP to the vendors.
  • Negotiations with the main suppliers for network items like: DWDM, LCD, IP routers, Installation material , services
  • Cost comparison among vendors and benchmarking with last prices/terms and price analysis based on different parameters.
  • Governance of the RFP process.
  • Multiple presentations to the stakeholdersfor these RFP and the Capex budget.
  • Approval from the Shareholders.
  • Price sheets finalizations and contract addendum sign off
  • Releasing the communications to all the circle commercial/ SSC for POs.
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing specifications/scope and hence costs for project procurement.
  • Evaluate options for alternate vendor introduction in the system for lower costs and better vendor management.
  • Support management for creating options for strategic buying for optimizing the spend and deployment of latest cutting edge products and solutions
  • Review of BOQs to eliminate all extras or surpluses
  • Implement standardized BoQ and ensure adherence to the norms and eliminate deviations
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • Strategic thinker with influencing abilities
  • Strong professional background in techno commercial domain for Telecom
  • Experience in supplier relationship management in a dynamic environment
  • Stakeholder management
Must have technical / professional qualifications
  • MBA /B.E/B. Tech
  • Reasonably good knowledge of SAP any other ERP tools on Procurement ,contract management
