Role Description

The Employee Compliance Technology Programme is responsible for re-platforming legacy Compliance applications onto modern, scalable, cloud-ready technology. The new GECCo platform (Global Employee Compliance Collective) will centralise all employee compliance tasks in Deutsche Bank, moving employees and Compliance to a self-service model, eliminating manual intervention, and improving data quality by ensuring it is consumed strategically from authoritative sources.


The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring a team lives agile values and principles and follows the agreed processes and practices to allow the team to continually improve their performance.


This role is for someone who is a technologist first. The person is required to have hands on working knowledge of Java and related technology stack including front end, back end, database, etc.

Your key responsibilities

Facilitate all Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Retrospectives and daily stand-ups. Good team player over different geographies. Promote and coach healthy communication in and around the team. Hands-on software development Strong communication with stakeholders Take End to End responsibility from design to deployment through the environments all the way to production.

Your skills and experience

Experience of working in an Agile Scrum team. Hands on development experience on Cloud based full stack application. Experience with end-to-end design and delivery of solutions Passionate about test driven development Proficient in Java full stack development (Java, Angular 8+, Spring Boot etc) Working knowledge of messaging (JMS, PubSub) Experience with Messaging and integration, Patterns, REST, SOA Strong hold on unit and integration testing Practices: Code Quality, Sonar, Veracode, Security, dev ops, Agile, CI & CD
