The ideal candidates will manage patient inquiries, insurance claims, and billing processes while ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Handle inbound and outbound calls related to medical billing inquiries, insurance claims, and payment processing.
Provide accurate information to patients regarding their billing statements, insurance coverage, and payment options.
Billing and Claims Support:
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and claims denials with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to support accurate claim submission.
Documentation:
Update patient accounts and maintain detailed call logs in the system.
Ensure proper documentation of all communication and actions taken during the resolution process.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies to ensure patient data confidentiality.
Follow up on outstanding accounts and overdue payments in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Problem-Solving:
Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve escalated issues effectively.
