Looking for a data engineering professional with 7+ years of experience in management and manipulation of structured/unstructured data, ability to perform deep data analysis, performing normalization operations, flattening of Semi-Structured Data (XML, JSON) and assuring data quality using cloud etl tools like ADF and leveraging database capabilities of Snowflake. Having exposure and good understanding of Databricks and worked on Pyspark coding.
Help bring the data into a common structure, developing data solutions to support analysis, perform deep data analysis, interpreting results and developing actionable insights.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create SQL queries and Snowflake stored procedures for parsing Un-Structured, Semi-Structured (XML) Data
• Ability to build data systems and pipelines
• Analyzing current business practices, processes and procedures and identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities
• Aggregate & transform raw data coming from a variety of data sources to fulfil the functional & non-functional business needs
• Follow Agile software development lifecycle
• Quality Assurance, ensuring strict data quality
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in the field of Data Engineering, Data Analysis, including source data analysis, data profiling and mapping
• Experience in Snowflake with strong knowledge in writing SQLs, stored procedures, performance tuning, etc.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory with focus on orchestrating ETL pipelines
• Experience working on Databricks and handson experience working on Pyspark/Sparksql coding
• Experience on migrating on-prem workloads to a cloud environment
• Solid ability to analyze and organize raw data, perform data analysis and research of healthcare data coming from various data sources
